Thank you everyone for your company on Sunday. We 14 riders at the start so spilt into two groups until our coffee stop at Middle Wallop airfield. The airfield was very busy and we managed to get in just before a  group of Bikers and Sotonia arrived.

The route out to Lower Chute took us through Monxton and Appleshaw the road to Grateley ,close to the Airfield still being closed. We were well looked after at the Hatchet with swift service for 10 of us. Very good food and roaring fires made it difficult to get going in the afternoon The return route down the Test Valley gave us  some long views of countryside but no sunshine. Hopefully those who had not been that way before enjoyed the route which we hope to extend up to the causeway during the Summer or alternatively sign up for the National Park to Park to take in more of the area.

Thank you to Simon for leading the ride
