Sunday 29 October Moderate riders as Crawley Duck Pond

Despite the early rain another good sized group all in good form appeared at the start.

Jim who had been hoping for a weekend off led off a faster group and as the weather cleared autumn in Hampshire, under clear blue skies, began to reveal itself. The route took us over to Crawley and Barton Stacey and on  to Whitchurch, the stiffish northerly wind taking the edge off progress. H’s was ready for a larger number, it is worth contacting them in advance as seats are limited. 10 went onto lunch via the Bourne Valley. The White Lion was very welcoming and their hearty food and good portions were well received after  the mornings efforts. Inevitably the wind died for the return, however the autumn sunshine prevailed and we were back before the light faded

Thank you to one and all for all your help on the day.
