Sunday proved to be a bright but cold day with a strong searching easterly wind. However it was good to see so many out (22) determined to get the New Year off to a good start. The route took us out through Hursley followed by the climb up to Farley Mount. The clear day and the lack of leaves on the trees gave us great views over the winter landscape and helped clear away the cobwebs of the Christmas break. Coffee was very welcome in Stockbridge and Lilly’s were able to accomodate us with notice. For some the route back was along the Test Valley, but the rest tackled Cow Drove Hill.

A special thank you to Katrina for leading for the first time, a lovely route for winter, and to all those who helped with the organization on the day. Thanks to all for your company.
