It has been a busy week for rides this week. Thank you to all those who have led rides. Paul took us over to the Meon Valley on Wednesday This proved to be a good workout over Beacon Hill and surrounds with an excellent lunch in Warnford. Thank you to Marcus and Chris for checking the 100km Audax route on Thursday.  A dull, windy and cold morning with plenty of snow still left on the Chutes. Thank you to all those who came to Braishfield on Friday where the community cafe provided us with excellent cakes and coffee following a route that took us up the Test Valley and over Eldon . Thank you to Alice and Jim for the rides this weekend. We could certainly do with some sunshine as both days were cool and damp. The Hawk Conservancy proved equal to the task of feeding a large group of cyclists anxious for their well deserved breakfasts. The route had included some less well used roads which were a welcome change. Is spring in the air? Some of the hedge rows that have not been battered to death, with the consequent debris on the road, had just a hint of greenery.
