Fifteen riders left Romsey to ride to the tea rooms at the countryside museum at Breamore. The route took us almost to Salisbury before we turned South at Alderbury, going through Woodgreen and then to the cafe. There were some pretty sections especially where we crossed the River Avon. We were made very welcome at the cafe where bacon sandwiches were on offer and the sun came out as we sat in the courtyard.

The route back was through Godshill, Brook and Bramshaw, the New Forest traffic surprisingly light for a summer weekend. There were great views across the forest.

Thanks to all who came, Paul Rayfield who volunteered to lead a second group and everyone else who helped on the day.
